Buck Creek, Lemery Park, Wyoming, MI 7-23-2014
Fished the Buck Creek in Lemery Park, Wyoming, Michigan today.
Caught nothing more than a creek chub (picture shown) and a baby Brown trout.
Used spinners and stick baits with my Shakespeare GX2 combo, which performed well again. Lost three spinners…
The water was pretty warm, and even though I managed to access a spot in the creek with good depth and structure, the fish seemed to be non-existent. In fact, the best fish that I saw was an 8 inch Brown.
The colors that caught the two fish were a rainbow spinner with black spots and a white spinner with black spots. Both were 1/4 oz. (I lost my only 0 mepps early on). Both spinners were manufactured by South Bend.
