March 15, 2015 Grand River, Eastmanville

Was planning on doing some fishing on the Grand River at Eastmanville today, however, when I got there the water was quite high and brown.  I decided that it would not be worthwhile to fish.

It was quite a beautiful afternoon, however.

On the bayou, there is still ice, and a few ice fishermen were out.  The ice is getting pretty rough though, very slushy looking and areas are under water.  I would imagine after tomorrow when it is supposed to get up to 60 degrees that ice fishing on the bayou will be pretty much over.
